A Matter of Perspective

Have you ever felt like your life is a roller coaster? You, slowly, go up and, all of the sudden, you’re, way too quickly, going down, full force. Have you ever felt like you’re living your life as an alpinist? You climb, with all you’ve got, to the highest point; you stay there for a little bit; then you fall and go all the way down again…
Let me tell you something, life is hard, unfair, we keep struggling, feeling hopeless, lost, desperate… But the key is as simple as this: perspective. It’s all about the way you’re looking at it! Are you going up and ending up on the downs or are you starting at the lowest point and always climbing to the top, where you belong? Do you get the meaning of this? Is “life gets better and then, always, something happens and it all goes bad for me” true or does “life was bad, I fought as hard as I could and it got better (and that repeats itself many times)” make more sense now?
I just want to tell you that, no matter what you are going through, family related issues, illnesses, problems with school, friends, relationships… anything, it can and will get better. I always tell you this because it makes so much sense to me: Your life, your choices! Your life is in your hands, you can change it at any time! I’m not saying it will be easy, because it won’t but, please, don’t give up on yourself, your life, your purpose… You are greater, stronger and worthy of more than what happened/ is happening, I promise you that!
So don’t give up ok? It’s hard, it might get even harder (sorry to break it to you) but it will also get better! You can be happy!
“You will stay where you are til you learn the lesson Gods wants you to learn on the level He has you”. Learn, always see the positive aspects of it. God put this in your way because He wanted you to learn, He knew you could go through it, change, be stronger and maybe even help others, who knows?
This little post is just to give you the courage, hope, safety, love, friendship and perspective you might be needing (it happens to me too, all the time).
Never forget that I’ll always be here for any of you, only a message/email away. You won’t bother me, at all. And I’ll forever try my best to help. I’m here for that too, not “just” to write.

Alguma vez sentiste que a tua vida é uma montanha russa? Tu sobes, devagarinho, e, de repente, estás a descer, rápido demais e com toda a força. Alguma vez sentiste que estás a viver a tua vida como um alpinista? Escalas, com tudo o que tens, até ao ponto mais alto; ficas lá por um pouco; depois cais e regressas ao ponto de partida…
Deixa-me contar-te uma coisa, a vida é difícil, injusta, nós continuamos a batalhar, sem esperança, perdidos, desesperados… Mas a “chave” é tão simples quanto isto: perspetiva. Tudo depende da forma como olhas para algo! Estás a subir e acabas em baixo ou estás a começar no ponto mais baixo e escalas sempre até ao topo, onde pertences? Percebes? Será que “a vida fica melhor e depois acontece sempre alguma coisa e tudo me corre mal” é verdade ou será que “a vida era má, eu lutei com toda a força que tinha e melhorou (e isto repete-se inúmeras vezes)” faz mais sentido agora?
Só quero contar-te que, independentemente do que estás a passar, problemas com a família, doenças, problemas na escola, com amigos, relações… qualquer coisa, pode e vai melhorar. Digo-te sempre isto porque faz muito sentido para mim: A tua vida, as tuas escolhas! A tua vida está nas tuas mãos, podes mudá-la a qualquer hora! Não estou a dizer que vai ser fácil, porque não vai mas, por favor, não desistas de ti, da tua vida, do teu objetivo… És melhor, mais forte e mereces mais do que te aconteceu/ está a acontecer, prometo-te isso!
Por isso não desistas, ok? É difícil, pode ser ainda mais difícil (desculpa contar-te) mas também vai ser melhor! Podes ser feliz!
“ Vais ficar onde estás até aprenderes a lição que Deus quer que aprendas ao nível que Ele te tem”. Aprende, vê sempre o lado positivo. Deus pôs isto no teu caminho porque Ele queria que aprendesses, Ele sabia que conseguias ultrapassar isto, mudar, ficar mais forte e talvez ainda ajudar outras pessoas, quem sabe?
Este pequeno post serve apenas (espero) para te dar a coragem, esperança, segurança, amor, amizade e ponto de vista que podes estar a precisar (também me acontece, a toda a hora).
Nunca te esqueças que vou estar sempre aqui para ti, a distância é a de uma mensagem/ email. Não me vais incomodar, de todo. E vou tentar sempre ajudar-te. Também estou aqui para isso, não “apenas” para escrever.
